Lionel House Developments and Aberdeen Standard Investments awarded Winvic the contract to develop a new 14-storey, build-to-rent complex located on the edge of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

The scheme comprises 259 high quality managed apartments, broken down into – 156 one-bedroom, 90 two-bedroom and 13 three-bedroom apartments.
Other features of the development include 11,250 sq ft amenity space located to the ground floor, consisting of communal areas for residents which includes a fitness room and communal kitchen, a 17-space car park and cycle storage for every apartment.
The landscaped rooftop terrace is designed to give residents access to social rooms and an external social space with a 360 degree skyline view of the city centre. Full LED lighting will be used throughout and feature lighting will be used in the ground floor social area.
Externally there were highway works consisting of minor paving works to re-configure the existing vehicle foot path crossing to the ground floor car park and cycle storage with service zones.
This is the second build-to-rent contract win for Winvic in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
