Thousands Flock To Opening Of Rushden Lakes Stores

THE EAGERLY-awaited opening of the first stores at Rushden Lakes marked another momentous milestone in the development of one of the largest out-of-town retail and leisure destinations in the United Kingdom.

Marks & Spencer, Primark and H&M were among the High Street brands to open their doors to the general public on Friday 28th July following the completion of Phase One of the major retail and leisure scheme undertaken by Winvic.

The level of interest in this unique ‘eat, shop, explore’ experience in Northamptonshire was reflected in the fact that 6,000 cars and 20,000 people had flocked to Rushden Lakes within the first three hours of them opening for business.
