Following previous developments at DIRFT, Winvic were contracted by Prologis to deliver extensive redevelopment to create an Intermodal Rail Freight Terminal – DIRFT III in Crick, Northampton, prior to the construction of DC4.

Contracted by repeat client Prologis UK to design and construct a new single storey speculative BREEAM ‘Excellent’ warehouse/production unit of 180,000 sq ft, having a clear height to underside of haunch of 15 metres, ground and first floor office accommodation and external site works including hardstanding, carparking, landscaping and drainage.
The new facility at DIRFT was part of Prologis’ speculative development plan which was constructed to reflect the company’s ambitious targets around sustainability and carbon reduction, with a EPC ‘A’ rating and features such as 15% roof lights, rainwater harvesting, and LED lighting.
Sustainability
The building has also had its environmental credentials certified by The Planet Mark and is mitigating 100% of the embodied carbon involved in its construction.
Winvic delivered DC4 on time and within budget.
