INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS
The contract comprised extensive infrastructure and earthworks to form building platforms for 6 warehouses, where over 1 million m3 of material was excavated and remodelled to accommodate the development plateaux and 3000m of screening bunds.
Additionally, 7,500m of underground drainage was installed, and footpaths throughout the park were constructed alongside extensive landscaping works including 30,000 trees and shrubs with almost 30-acres of new woodland, equivalent to nearly one third of the site.
The highways programme included a new site entrance and roundabout as well as improvements to the existing roundabout at Junction 11 of the M42, part of a S278 agreement.
