The works comprised of the adaptation of an undercroft car park into departures and arrivals facilities with the construction of associated airside aprons and link roads to serve a new fixed base operation for executive jet company Ocean Sky.

The work involved close coordination with Luton Airport management and their approval of all airside methods of working as the works involve the demolition of an existing workshop, breaking up of the existing concrete aprons, diversion of the main feeder services to the airport main terminal buildings and creation of the new airside aprons. These aprons will be maintained separately either side of Ocean Sky’s building.
