Icon Industrial, a joint venture between Stoford Developments Ltd and TPG Real Estate, has appointed Winvic to construct a new 11.6-acre logistics and global content creation studio at Manchester Airport for occupier The Hut Group, one of the world’s leading online beauty and wellbeing businesses.

The ICON development, which will be one of the largest in Europe, will provide logistics and content creation facilities totalling 168,000 sq ft and an additional 104,000 sq ft of office space over four floors housing up to 2,000 people.
The 168,000 sq ft warehouse will have a steel portal frame and composite cladding with a three-storey internal office. In addition to the internal office is a 104,000 sq ft four-storey office building with rainscreen and glazed cladding. External features include a five storey multi storey car park, a secured concrete service yard at the rear and an open tarmac/paved car parking and landscaped area at the entrance.
