QS Charlie gets 12 months experience on both industrial and C&I projects

Following on from National Careers Week 2022, it’s time to meet Charlie who went from originally studying chemistry at university to becoming one of our Trainee Quantity Surveyors on our Year In Industry programme. He is based at Clowes Developments’ two-unit industrial project in Corby – Centrix Business Park – four days a week and also spends one day a week at the civils and infrastructure scheme, DIRFT III Rail Infrastructure. He tells us about the projects, his role and how he’s enjoyed different departmental placements here at Winvic… including time with George, one of our previous Trainee Site Engineers who returned in a full time role after he graduated.
