Winvic wins its eighth Consecutive Health and Safety ROSPA Gold Award

Winvic continues to strike gold, having won its eighth consecutive RoSPA Gold award for health and safety practices. This prestigious award celebrates and recognises the hard work, methods and achievements, Winvic has made to ensure its employees and contractors get home safely.

The RoSPA Awards scheme, receives entries from organisations around the world, it recognises achievements in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Commenting on the latest accolade, Ian Goodhead, Winvic’s HSEQ Director said “It is wonderful that the effort we put into our health and safety structures and policies has been recognised and awarded gold, for the eighth consecutive year. This achievement really showcases our countless hard work and dedication to continuously improving what we do and how we do it. Our efforts won’t stop here, Winvic will always aspire to raise industry standards it is part of our philosophy.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards have become the key fixture in the health and safety calendar with new sponsors and new awards this year including the Leisure Safety Awards, the Safe@Work Safe@Home Award and the Inspiration Awards. Winvic will be presented with the award during a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Thursday, June 6, 2019.

Winvic was recently awarded the accolade of Best Health and Safety in Construction at the Safety and Health Excellence Awards 2019 and is a finalist in the 2019 CN Awards; Safety and Wellbeing Excellence Project for SEGRO Logistics Park East Midlands Gateway alongside Compliance Manager, Jackie Hall, as one of eight in the running for WICE Best Woman in Health and Safety. The CN winners’ announcement will take place on 11 July and WICE winners will be revealed on 21 May.
