Winvic proud to sponsor the National CIHT Sustainability Award

Winvic is excited to announce our sponsorship of the National CIHT Sustainability Award, reinforcing our dedication to excellence in sustainable practices in construction and civil engineering. Winvic wants to raise the bar for delivering sustainable buildings and infrastructure for our clients, while also leaving a lasting positive, social, environmental and economic legacy.

We understand that as a business, we can play a pivotal role in delivering long term, sustainable value that contributes to meeting the economic, environmental, and social wellbeing needs of the communities in which we live and work.

Supporting this award allows us to celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations dedicated to working towards a greener, more sustainable future for the built environment.

This marks our second year as a CIHT award sponsor as an Associate Member. Last year, we proudly sponsored the Collaboration award, along with the CIHT West Midlands Innovation Award and the CIHT East Midlands Climate Action Award.

In November last year, Winvic hosted a Decarbonisation roundtable – bringing together CIHT members, industry leaders and experts from the public and private sectors – to discuss the opportunities and challenges in decarbonising the highways, transport and construction sectors and uniting efforts to achieve Net Zero goals. And in mid-December, our Civils and Infrastructure team had the pleasure of hosting clients at the annual CIHT Luncheon in London.

Winvic’s Technical Services and Sustainability Director, Arun Thaneja, will join a panel of experts to judge the Sustainability Award entries. Arun commented: “I am delighted to be a judge at the 2025 CIHT Sustainability Awards, celebrating the outstanding sustainability achievements within the construction industry. These awards align with Winvic’s commitment to excel in delivering sustainable buildings and infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to shine a spotlight on organisations and individuals making a positive impact, and I look forward to recognising innovation and learning from inspiring sustainability champions within Highways and Transport who share our vision for a greener future.”

The awards ceremony is taking place on Wednesday, 4 June at Lancaster Terrace London.
