Winvic Construction Ltd, is celebrating after landing an internationally-recognised award for demonstrating high health and safety standards for twelve consecutive years running.
Winvic has received a RoSPA President’s Award for achieving twelve Golds consecutively for working hard to ensure its team get home safely to their families at the end of every working day.
Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.
When it comes to health and safety, Winvic has already seen the positive impact following the launch of its ‘Doing It Right’ initiative in 2020 – a cultural change programme to further improve behavioural safety. The programme strives for ongoing excellence and aims to raise the bar for safety behaviour standards across the entire business. Winvic has achieved a reduction in safety incidents (AFR) by 71% since the programme launched and the Doing it Right ethos is integrated into the core of everything they do.
