Winvic prides itself by working closely with our clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure we achieve the best results. Recently our technical department organised a series of training days for our mechanical and electrical supply chain, at Gripple Ltd who specialise in support and hanging solutions for mechanical and electrical equipment. Gripple and Winvic have been working closely with each other over the past 12 months on the importance of product selection, design and certification of any Gripple product that is installed on a Winvic project.
Gripple remarked “It was great to welcome Winvic’s supply chain to the Gripple head office in Sheffield this June. Supply chain members undertook a comprehensive factory tour to see how Gripple products are made, as well as taking part in in-depth installation training with the technical services team trials that demonstrated the benefits of using Gripple suspension system compared to traditional installation methods. We look forward to working with Winvic and their supply chain on future projects”.
Lee Evans, M&E Technical Manager, commented “We have been working with Gripple for a while now to develop our relationship and help them in understanding our requirements for the importance in product selection and services that they can supply. After our initial tour around their factory we thought it would be beneficial if we could all arrange the supply chain to do the same with a few training sessions in how their products are used and best methods of installation.
We would like to thank Gripple for arranging these insightful days and hope our supply chain has gained a more in-depth understanding of the use and best practice of installing Gripple products, which will ultimately benefit our clients.”
