Winvic Construction Ltd has marked its most successful year to date at the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards, securing an impressive total of 16 awards across its Industrial, Multi-Room and Civils and Infrastructure projects.

The National Site Awards recognise the top-performing construction sites across the UK. The number of accolades awarded to Winvic is a testament to their ongoing commitment to leaving a positive lasting legacy and operating to the highest professional standards. Its sites create a positive, meaningful impact in communities, are respectful of the public, the workforce, and the environment, and represent the pinnacle of considerate construction, setting the benchmark for others to follow.

Winvic is proud to have been awarded the Most Considerate, six silver, and nine bronze awards for projects delivered for a range of clients, including Royal London Asset Management, Tritax Big Box, GLP, SEGRO plc, Equites, Newlands DevelopmentsGraftongate, IM Properties, Crown Student Living, Cassidy Group Ltd, Barnwell Gate Limited, and Verdion.

Crown Place, Birmingham’s tallest student accommodation scheme, rising to 33 storeys, has been recognised with the prestigious Most Considerate award, the highest accolade in its category, as a result of its high scores and additional innovation and best practice points for the use of advanced technology and sustainable construction methods. Winvic’s six projects winning silver include Beckton House in Nottingham, Progress House in Warwick, Atlantic Park in Liverpool, EMA5 in KetteringMPN 761 Magna Park in Lutterworth, and SEGRO Park in Coventry.

Each received additional Best Practice points through the implementation of innovative construction methods, strong environmental controls and proactive community engagement. These included the use of the Safegate Drakon two-hour fire-rated temporary edge protection system hyperlink and cruciform cranes to enhance safe and efficient lifting operations.

A strong focus on health and well-being was demonstrated through occupational health initiatives, including dedicated well-being days and cancer screening for site personnel. Environmental performance was further strengthened using biodegradable silt mats to help minimise sediment runoff and protect surrounding watercourses.

Community engagement and STEM outreach were also delivered through a hands-on activity using Bee-Bots, introducing children to basic programming and supporting early interest in digital skills. In addition, water management was showcased through the installation of a Togglelok Valve automated standalone system, designed to support flood prevention and reduce the risk of water pollution.

The 9 bronze awards were presented to Coton Park in Rugby, DCF2 in Cardiff, Daedalus in Fareham, SEGRO Logistics Park Northampton (Plots 4,7 and the Civils and Infrastructure package), A43 Towcester Early Enabling Works, iPort Rail in Doncaster, and S278 Symmetry Park in Rugby.
