Winvic Construction is proud to announce that due to his expertise, Senior Environmental Manager Amit Patel, has been selected to join the judging panel for the Green Awards UK 2025.
The Green Awards UK celebrate excellence across sustainability, environmental innovation, and green leadership. Amit’s appointment to the judging panel highlights is testament to his long-spanning career in the environmental field and Winvic’s ongoing commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles.
Amit brings over a decade of experience to this prestigious role, having held senior positions within various Tier one organisations in the construction industry. His deep-rooted knowledge and commitment to environmental best practice will be invaluable in helping to identify and celebrate businesses and products that are leading the way in sustainability and protecting the environment.
Throughout his career, Amit consistently champions practical and forward-thinking solutions to drive positive environmental change. This was evidenced when Amit – alongside Winvic’s Head of Environmental Paul Thomas – collected an award himself at the Green World Ambassador event in 2024.
As part of his judging responsibilities, Amit will review shortlisted submissions, assess entries for assigned categories against a defined scoring framework, and provide valuable feedback for finalists.
Reflecting on his selection, Amit commented:
“It is a real privilege to serve as a judge. I am eager to see the efforts businesses and industries are making to green their operations and foster innovation. Evaluating the submissions will be immensely rewarding to see the approaches different sectors and organisations are taking.”
The winners of the Green Awards UK 2025 will be announced on 10th September at a prestigious awards ceremony, hosted at the Park Plaza London Riverbank.
