Winvic is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Health and Safety in the Workplace Award at the CIHT Annual Awards 2026.
Aligning with Winvic’s Doing It Right culture, the award recognises initiatives that improve workplace safety culture and practice, including new technologies, tools or working processes that help reduce risks faced by those working across the civils and infrastructure sector.

As a CIHT (The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation) Associate Member for three consecutive years, Winvic also recently co-hosted its second roundtable discussion, bringing together industry leaders from across the highways, transportation and infrastructure sector. The session focused on Whole Life Carbon Assessment for contractors and local authorities, exploring the role of new processes, guidelines and materials in reducing carbon across infrastructure delivery.
Participants shared insights on collaboration, innovation, workforce development and the actions needed to deliver lasting benefits for communities. The discussion provided a valuable forum for open dialogue and knowledge sharing, reinforcing the importance of partnership in addressing common challenges and driving continuous improvement across the sector.

Continuous improvement in Health and Safety remains at the heart of everything we do at Winvic, and this category reflects our commitment to creating safer workplaces, driving best practice and recognising those who are raising standards across the industry. Our continued partnership with CIHT, including our recent roundtable discussion, reflects our shared ambition to support collaboration, innovation and positive change throughout the sector.”
The award ceremony will be taking place on Wednesday, 17th June at Lancaster Terrace, London.
Winvic looks forward to joining industry peers at this year’s awards ceremony and celebrating the achievements of those who continue to drive excellence across highways, transportation and infrastructure. Good luck to all shortlisted entries!
